Use Gravity as the procedure-building system, the control system, or both. Existing restaurant SOPs enter as working Drafts so your managers keep authority over what becomes current.

Bring in existing procedures by file, mixed batch, folder, ZIP, or copy/paste. Review duplicates and save selected procedures as Drafts.
Keep the procedures that already work and use Gravity masters only for gaps, new stations, or areas you want to strengthen.
Gravity SOP Foundry Online and Gravity SOP Foundry Desktop are being kept visually and operationally aligned. A restaurant can learn the workflow online and move to the Windows edition without learning a different program. Environment-specific storage, backup, and synchronization controls may differ, but the Build Room, SOP control path, recipes, posters, training, employee experience, terminology, and Import / Export Center use the same product language and workflow.
Gravity Signals can help a manager notice patterns that may deserve review, but it never decides what those patterns mean. A Gravity Signal is an indicator, not a conclusion.
Signals may help a manager notice several employees struggling with the same knowledge-check material, repeated questions or error reports around one procedure, a possible documentation gap, incomplete follow-up requirements, or a possible cross-training opportunity.
The manager checks the actual SOP, training, workflow, equipment, timing, and employee circumstances before deciding whether anything needs to change. The same indicator can have several possible explanations.
Employees should be free to reread an SOP, ask questions, and explore learning material naturally. Showing the internal Signal logic could cause employees to avoid useful learning behavior—or deliberately try to create a Signal—which would make the information less reliable.
The restaurant chooses whether to enable Gravity Signals. Managers can turn the feature off completely, disable categories, or disable individual Signal types. Turning Signals off stops manager-side Signal calculation while normal training, acknowledgments, quiz records, and employee questions continue to work.

Saving your work: Manager drafts stay in this browser. Back them up. Hosted Employee Connection shares published employee materials and receives learning records; it does not synchronize manager drafts between devices.
Future Gravity Fulfillment will offer finished restaurant-specific SOP binders assembled from the local versions you approve here, with organized sections and page protectors. That physical binder service is not available yet. For now, Gravity SOP Foundry lets you build the complete binder and print your own copies immediately.
Modern SOP tools commonly add owner, status, priority, review frequency, due/review dates, approval stages and version history. Gravity SOP Foundry includes those controls, then adds restaurant-specific Gravity features: 525 controlled source procedures, department and specialty packs, master comparison, blank SOP creation, local restaurant defaults, readiness checks, binder building and self-print output. The source library uses the current controlled 525-SOP library.
Company, restaurant, store number, location, preparer, approver, owner, revision, review cycle, retention, escalation, language and jurisdiction defaults can move from SOP to SOP.
Save snapshots before major edits, restore earlier versions, identify what changed from the Gravity master and keep the source master untouched.
Use Truth → Cost → System to build a new SOP when no current Gravity procedure fits. It can live in the same pack and binder as Library SOPs.
