Build a controlled SOP manual with the full field set
Complete the same store setup, then add language, jurisdiction, retention and escalation defaults if your company uses them.
Choose the Gravity source or start completely blank. Blank SOPs include Truth → Cost → System so a new form is created only when a real control is needed.
Customize scope, exclusions, supporting roles, trigger, prerequisites, decision points, completion criteria, quality checks, visual aids and distribution.
Save a version snapshot before major changes. Use Compare to Gravity Master to see what changed without touching the source SOP.
Record revision reason, review/approval details, training audience, retraining, verification evidence and local authority/code review where appropriate.
Verify, approve the local working copy, arrange the binder, then print/export. Keep only the current approved version in use.
Never get stuck on a field. Hover or focus the ? beside a field for an example, or open for the full glossary. Optional fields can remain blank when they do not apply.

Multi-location company? Use Company / Restaurant Group plus Store / Unit Number. The store identity is carried into every SOP and appears in the printed document and binder register.
Creation date is automatic. Each working SOP receives the date it was first created. Effective date, revision, approver, owner, next review, priority, risk, and other control fields remain editable.
